The US Federal ESIGN Act, passed in 2000, defines it as an “electronic sound, symbol (CheckBox), or process attached to or logically associated with a contract or other record and executed or adopted by a person with the intent to sign the record”.
A “Standard Electronic Signature” (SES) is defined as “data in electronic form which is attached to or logically associated with other data in electronic form and which is used by the signatory to sign” (eIDAS Article 3)..
Is using a Checkbox to sign documents, contracts etc Legal? – YES
“No contract,, or record shall be denied legal effect solely because it is in electronic form”, provided that all parties signing a document agree to use electronic signatures. These principles have been included in various Laws in over 60 countries.
What is FastSign?
FastSign is the name we use for our Document Signatures.
Can your system be used on all documents?
FastSign is ideal for signing all documents, except where the law requires that the document be signed by hand or on documents where an “Advanced” (AES) or “Qualified” (QES) signature is required.
What are the costs?
We charge US$1.00 per signed document.
Is your system Secure?
Yes. We use SSL encryption, to protect all commutation between our website and your Server from prying eyes.
How about Corporate Branding?
Yes, Corporate Branding is included as a standard feature.
What payment option you have?
We use Paypal as our payment gateway. Customers do not need be to be registered with PayPal to make a payment.
