What is an “Electronic Signature”?
The US Federal ESIGN Act, passed in 2000, defines it as an “electronic sound, symbol or process attached to or logically associated with a contract or other record and executed or adopted by a person with the intent to sign the record”.
A “Basic” electronic signature is defined as “data in electronic form which is attached to or logically associated with other data in electronic form and which is used by the signatory to sign” (eIDAS Article 3)..
Is it Legal
“No contract, signature, or record shall be denied legal effect solely because it is in electronic form”, provided that all parties signing a document agree to use electronic signatures.
These principles have been included in various Laws in over 60 countries.
Can your system be used on all documents?
Our system is a “Basic electronic signature” system and must be used as such. Its perfectly legal on company administrative documents, but must NOT be use when an “Advanced” or “Qualified” signature is required.
What are the costs?
We have a range of Plans to select from, varying from a Free Plan (1 User & 5 signatures pm) to our Ultimate 2 (Unlimited Users & 1000 Signatures pm). Prices range from $0 to $60 pm, payable annually in advance, VAT exclusive. See Plan Pricing for a full list. Always remember, cost, cost and cost per unit is vital. Rate our prices against any comparable system. Nobody beats our SES.
Is your system Secure?
We use SSL encryption, which means that any comminution between our web site and your Server is safe from prying eyes.
Can I change my plan?
Yes – You can upgrade or downgrade, but only after being on your current plan for at least 6 months.
How about Company Branding?
Yes – all plans except the Free Plan.
What payment option you use?
We use Paypal as our payment gateway. Customers do not need be to be registered with PayPal to make a payment. PayPal lets you use your Visa, Master Card, American Express or Diners Club cards.
